Treating your dog or puppies for fleas: In younger dogs we recommend using Nexgard monthly or in older dogs you can switch to Bravecto which lasts for 3 months. 3 months of treatment is generally long enough to reduce the population in the environment, but, it's important to continue to treat as it is far easier to prevent fleas than it is to eliminate an established population.
